• Upgrading to a Different Paid Plan or Annual Plan
If you find that the current Airbrake Tier you’re enrolled in doesn’t meet your business needs, you can upgrade to a higher Airbrake Tier immediately at a prorated rate. Upgrades that take place in the middle of a billing cycle will take effect immediately and you will be charged the prorated difference between your current plan and your new plan. At the time of upgrade, Airbrake will also charge you for any on-demand Errors and Events accrued to that point in your billing cycle. Your billing cycle will reset to your upgrade date and you will have immediate access to the new limits of the upgraded plan.
• Downgrading to a Paid Plan
Downgrades to a different paid Airbrake plan that are initiated in the middle of a billing cycle will take effect immediately and your account will be credited for the prorated difference between your current plan and your new plan. Any credits will be applied to future Airbrake charges. At the time of downgrade, Airbrake will also charge you for any on-demand Errors or Events accrued to that point in your billing cycle. Your billing cycle will reset to the date your account is downgraded and your error quota will be reset.
• Downgrading to a Free Plan
Downgrading your account from a paid Airbrake plan to a Free Developer plan will stop any future monthly recurring payments, however, you will still have full access to your Airbrake account until the end of the current billing cycle. If your account accrues any on-demand usage beyond your plan limit during your final billing cycle, you will be charged for this at the end of the billing cycle when your account is downgraded. Airbrake does not offer prorated refunds for paid plans that downgrade to the Free Developer tier.
• Upgrading or downgrading within Annual Pricing Plans
You can downgrade to a lower Tier, paid Airbrake plan while subscribed to an Annual Pricing Plan. The new annualized price will take effect immediately. Any prorated portion from the previous plan will be applied as a credit to your account. Airbrake does not issue refunds for credit balances.
• Downgrading from an Annual Pricing Plan to a Free or Monthly Plan
You can downgrade to a free plan or cancel your annual plan, but these downgrades will only occur at the end of the period for which you already paid. You will continue to have access to your Airbrake account through the end of your pre-paid billing period, but your account will not auto-renew on your next billing date. Airbrake does not offer refunds for canceled plans and downgrades to free accounts. Complete details can be found in our Terms of Service.
